She's here and she's absolutely gorgeous! I stopped growing towards the end of my pregnancy and then I actually started losing wieght. We did some stress tests and Isabel passed but two weeks before my due date, my doctor decided we should start me rather then wait for something bad to happen. Everyone told me it would take all day since she was my first but I knew it wouldn't. Sure enough, they started me at 7 am and she was out at 1245. I didn't get an epidural until I was in a lot of pain. While they were trying to get it in, they lost her heart rate for about 45 minutes. They finally got it through an intrauterine device and it was really low. They started to wheel me off for a c-section and just in the nick of time her heart rate came up. Way to go Isabel! They figure she just got really stressed because I went from a 3 to a 10 dilation in about an hour with extremely strong contractions. After the scare though, there were so many people standing by, that I ended up having 11 people in the room with me! What a party. At least I got a big cheer at the end. She came out beautiful and vibrant. Well, okay, she was beautiful to us but probably no so much to everyone else since she was covered in blood. There was my mom and Marc's mom there to enjoy it with us. She weighed 5.7 and was 18 1/2 inches long. Her middle name is Lindsay per Marc's request. Everyone told me that she would be so sleepy and it would be hard to feed her because she was so small. She not only proved everyone wrong, but was complete opposite of sleepy. She didn't fall asleep until 8 o'clock that night. She definitely has her mother's spunck! Aside from our wedding, it was the best day Marc and I have ever had!
